What type of organization is UAN?
United Animal Nations (UAN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization. All of our programs are designed to bring animals out of crisis and into care.
How many paid employees do you have? Volunteers?
UAN has 12 paid employees and more than 4,000 Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS) and Humane Education Ambassador Reader (HEAR) volunteers.
Do you have chapters?
No. Our headquarters is in Sacramento, California, but our programs operate nationally. Some of our programs are also available in Canada.
